Die Arbeit besteht aus einer Vielzahl vereinzelter Eingriffe auf vorhandene Spuren in dem für die zwei Wochen zur Verfügung gestellten Raum. Der Titel stellt die Verbindung zu diesem Satz dar:

"das nur Eigene brauche ich mir nicht anzueignen und das nur Fremde vermag ich mir nicht anzueignen."

The work consists of a variety of reactions on the traces that I found in the room provided for me during those two weeks. The title makes a connection to a sentence by Michael Theunissen from "Produktive Innerlichkeit", in Frankfurter Hefte extra, Heft 6, Dezember 1984

"das nur Eigene brauche ich mir nicht anzueignen und das nur Fremde vermag ich mir nicht anzueignen."

I translated that to the best of my knowledge as follows:
